Gas Fire and Fireplace Fitting
After our initial consultation where we discussed what the needs of our customer were, we also performed a brief survey that included checking the fire place dimensions, the chimney, any relevant flue requirements, and the incoming gas service and pipework.
Following this we discussed the options that were available to them that included what type of fire and fireplace they liked as well as a general feel for the style they were looking for. The living room is a space that is used primarily for relaxing and winding down after work, so the right feeling fire and fireplace is really important, just as the output and efficiency of the fire to heat the room.
Based on our understanding of what our customer wanted, together with their indicated budget and with an understanding of the technical aspects of the fire and fireplace, we put together a list of fires and fireplaces so our customer could choose from the available options.
Once choices were made, and the cost was agreed we then went ahead with the work that included removing the old fireplace, plastering the old wall and surrounding area, supplying and fitting a polished granite hearth, the gas fire and a limestone mantel.
The actual fire and fireplace products included:
- 1 Polished Granite Hearth
- 1 Bartello Agean Limestone Surround
- Claydon Highlight Cast Iron Arch Insert
- Full Depth open-fronted high efficiency gas fire
The customer was very happy with the final result and we are proud to have completed another gas fire and fireplace surround project locally here in Exmouth.
