Stylish Shower Room Update with a Walk-in Shower

For a long time, bathrooms have contained a bath or bath/shower combination as the usual arrangement in a bathroom, but there may come a time when you may prefer to install a walk-in shower instead. Maybe you find it difficult to get into your bath if you have bad knees or other mobility issues, or you have a busy lifestyle where a quick shower is preferable to a long soak in a bath. Also, a walk-in shower with a glass screen will create an illusion of space. Unless you have a family sized house with only one bathroom, this is now a very popular option.

We had customers who wanted to transform their dated traditional bathroom suite with a walk-in shower and separate traditional style toilet and basin unit. Firstly, the customers visited our bathroom showroom in Exmouth for inspiration and advice on what would suit their needs, space and budget. Here at Simon Turner Showrooms, we can supply and fit complete bathrooms. This includes Showers, shower trays, toilets, mirrors, tiling and flooring, lighting, and accessories such as soap dishes and product trays for showers.

In this shower room we have tiled the walls with stunning white glazed tiles from Waxman Tiles. As well as being easy to clean, these tiles reflect the light beautifully which particularly helps in bathrooms with low light levels.

The basin is of a traditional design and is by Bayswater Bathrooms and has been set in a chrome frame. The Chrome theme is repeated with the Bayswater Bathrooms two-headed shower. The shower tray is the Flight by Mira and measures 1700mm x 800mm.

The room has been finished off with flooring from Aqua Step in Oak Grey.
