Bathroom Design and Fitting

The customers had visited our bathroom showroom in Exmouth to peruse our bathroom displays, literature and seek advice on what would suit their needs, space and budget. Here at Simon Turner Showrooms we can supply and fit complete bathrooms and this includes showers, shower trays, toilets, mirrors, tiling and flooring, lighting, and accessories such as soap dishes and product trays for showers.

After a free home survey to check sizes and compatibility of the products the customers had chosen and fittings and materials had been ordered and delivered, we were ready to start the project.

After everything in the bathroom had been removed, new pipe work and electrics were installed. Next, the walls and floor were prepared for the new tiles and flooring.

The photograph shows our bathroom fitter Ben making preparations for the installation of the bath. This image also shows the completed wall tiling with tiles from Waxman Tiles and floor tiling in Beton Loft from Aquastep.

The re-plastered ceiling has been fitted with LED downlights.

A shower cubicle was fitted into the corner of the room and this is fitted with the Excel shower from Mira. Ample storage has been provided by the installation of a double cupboard tall wall unit. The ‘Ocean’ bath and ‘Icon’ toilet are from Tavistock Bathrooms’ Essentials range with the toilet unit in light grey with a soft close lid.

The spacious ‘Compass’ wash basin is also from Tavistock Bathrooms and has two storage drawers and is finished in light grey to match the toilet unit. We have fitted a double mirrored cabinet above the basin unit and a 1700 x 600 towel radiator.

The customer was really happy with the final result and we are proud to have completed another full bathroom design and fitting project in Budleigh Salterton.
